The first four Space Shuttle launches [STS-1 through STS-4] featured unique spacesuits called the Shuttle Ejection Escape Suit [S1030A] which was a variant of the SR-71 Blackbird's flight suit.
After STS-4, the suit was replaced with a non-pressurized blue flight suit up until the Challenger disaster. Post STS-51-L, NASA went back to a semi-pressurized suit called the Launch Entry Suit.
