NASA OA-6 Streak

Regular price $23.99

On March 23rd, 2016, NASA launched an Orbital ATK (Now Northrup Grumman) Cygnus spacecraft to the ISS on top of an Atlas V rocket. This was a unique mission as it featured Orbital's Cygnus spacecraft on an Atlas rocket, instead of Orbital's own Antares rocket, due to the Antares being on hold after a failure in 2014. It took off from SLC-41 at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida.

This launch was my first time seeing an Atlas V, and it was my first time seeing a launch from the roof of the Vehicle Assembly Building. This shot was taken with a Sony A7R II with a 14mm F2.8L lens through out a 4 minute exposure from the rooftop of the VAB.
