I Always Knew What I Wanted To Be

Regular price $15.99

An Everyday Astronaut original photograph by me, Tim Dodd.

After my original 2014 photo series went viral on Reddit, with millions of views and even a comment from Chris Hadfield, I heard a lot of people saying my images were overly photoshopped. So I said, "FINE INTERNET" and I did an entire series with absolutely no photoshop. This was easily my favorite from that series, and potentially one of favorite images I've ever taken. It features a wall I built and cut a hole into, some photographs of NASA's Orion test flight EFT-1 on the wall, and my nephew in his very own space suit!

This image means a lot to me, not only in knowing how important it is to inspire future generations to be curious and explore, but also because I never really knew what I wanted to do when I "grew up." But I kept pursuing my passions and listened to my gut, and now, next thing you know, I'm teaching rocket science professionally! Just goes to show, you don't always need to know what's next, you just need to work hard and listen to your heart!

Image is printed on professional semi glossy photo paper.
