LIMITED FOUNDERS EDITION WITH SIGNED CERTIFICATE
On May 30th, 2020, SpaceX launched Demonstration Mission-2, putting their first astronauts into orbit aboard the Crew Dragon spacecraft, Endeavour. NASA astronauts Bob Behnken and Doug Hurley were launched atop a Falcon 9 Block 5 rocket, serial number B1058. This particular rocket featured a unique livery with NASA logos adorning its sides. It was a highlight moment for NASA’s Commercial Crew Program, opening up the dawn of a new commercial era. One where private companies would become launch providers not only for government agencies, but also private citizens.
This historic rocket was an obvious choice for the first in our 1:100 scale collection. My vision is to someday have a huge collection of the most popular rockets throughout history, and even expand it to larger scale engine models and spacecraft. Imagine a highly detailed Saturn V and N1 side by side, or a Falcon 9 and Soyuz, or Space Shuttle and Buran. Someday I hope we can all have high quality rocket gardens in our homes and you’re helping to make it possible by purchasing the founders edition Falcon 9 model.
